| The art of storytelling is my passion. A childhood love of writing, heightened sense of curiosity and compassion for others led me to initially pursue a career in print journalism. It was in this newsroom environment where I was first introduced to professional level photography. In shooting daily assignments, I found I could connect with others through the lens in a way I never could with a notepad and pen alone. While writing will always hold a special place for me, I feel I can give back so much more through taking pictures. To my wedding and portrait work, I bring the photojournalistic stylings and sensibilities ingrained in me during my time in the newsroom. To this I add just a touch of my own whimsy. As a Hawaii native, I'm pretty laid back. I live in Portland, Oregon with my fun and wonderful wife Kelly Ann. I shoot photos all over the state, and welcome any opportunity to travel. Past destination wedding locations include Honolulu, Cancun, Salt Lake City and Port Townsend. |
